Job Summary
The Entry-Level Business Development Executive is responsible for supporting client acquisition, enrollee growth, and market expansion within the organization.
The role provides hands-on exposure to healthcare marketing, client engagement, and health plan administration, while contributing to revenue generation and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Medical Coding and Documentation
- Support client acquisition efforts to grow the organization’s enrollee base across individual and corporate health plans.
- Identify and follow up on new business opportunities to drive market penetration and business growth.
- Promote the organization’s health plans to individuals, SMEs, and corporate
organizations through direct marketing and engagement activities. - Participate in field marketing, awareness campaigns, and corporate presentations.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospective enrollees.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, quotations, and onboarding documentation for new clients.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and conversion activities.
- Support onboarding of new enrollees, ensuring proper documentation and data capture.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Service, Provider Relations, and Underwriting) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Ensure all business development activities comply with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Prepare and submit periodic activity and performance reports
Data Protection & Confidentiality - Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality in handling company-related information, ensuring compliance with data protection laws and internal policies.
- Adhere to the company’s information security guidelines, including proper storage, transmission, and disposal of sensitive materials.
- Promptly report any suspected data breaches or unauthorized access to the appropriate company authority.
- Participate in periodic data protection training to stay informed about evolving security risks and best practices.
General Assignment
- Execute any other duties and tasks that may be designated or assigned by the Company.
- Participate in the knowledge sharing programme of the department and the company.
- To provide supports to your manager as may be required towards serving the Board, Management and staff.
Qualification
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- NYSC completion certificate required.
- Maximum age: 26 years.
- 0–2 years post-NYSC experience
